Collaborative analysis paragraphs, while taking more time then a normal assignment, allow for you to do more good work, and receive more feedback then you would from one teacher in a normal paragraph. However, when writing the paragraph, it seemed that a group less involved then mine could unload all of the work onto one person. For our own group, the system worked very well, and we produced a good, insightful paragraph that used input from all group members. Winslow found the quotes, I belted out the basic structure and components of the paragraph, and Quincy edited the two together and helped me with the head and heart. Then, we moved into the editing stage and tied the elements of the paragraph together, giving feedback to each other. Overall, I thought we produced a better paragraph then we could have individually.
